Beth’s home is a small condominium. In a smaller space every area draws more attention or intensity. How to fit all of one’s furniture for various functional needs can be a challenge. Beth does this beautifully.
In the picture above, she uses her couch to divide, but not block, the living room from the dining room. The chairs are comfortable but fairly compact and flexible in placement so that room is made for the piano. The tall but skinny bookshelf creates stylish and effective storage for books, music and personal mementos, while grounding the back of the room. The warm, rich beige color on the wall brings all the elements together and creates a cozy feeling without being too dark.
Beth’s bathroom, painted in red with gold accents, brings the energy up and away from the drains. The artwork above and box on the toilet give a personal touch to this room and almost makes you forget the bathroom’s purpose.
Beth’s fountain, with sweet lamp and artwork, create a peaceful greeting in her entry hallway. This “cure” also guides the energy calmly through the tight and crooked space into the rest of her home.
